Seeking ongoing temporary Childcare Assistants qualified with a minimum of 6 months experience needed in Sawbridgeworth.

Do you hold a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification or above with at least 6 months experience working with young children from 6 months to reception age? Are you passionate about working in nurseries and the early years age groups?

About the role:

  • Assisting the nursery teams with providing a safe, clean & happy environment for children
  • Working with 3 key age groups
  • Participating in activities and engaging with the children
  • Helping with meals and snacks

Paying up to £15 – £18 an hour (depending on the qualification level and experience of candidate). Paid each week, every Friday. Typical shift times can range from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

This role would suit:

  • Someone with at least 6 months minimum experience
  • College/University staff requiring occasional work during term time holidays
  • Students that currently hold childcare qualifications (Cache level 2 or 3) and have 6 months relevant work experience
  • Someone who is flexible and able to travel
  • Someone with a genuine love and passion for working with children and in nurseries
  • Someone who can work Mon-Fri
  • Hold a clean and valid DBS that is on the update service
  • Be aged 17 and upwards
  • Have 3 years of recent references
  • Be experienced in working in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Report incidents regarding the safety and wellbeing of the children
  • Have knowledge of safeguarding and be prepared to do some training if offered
  • Be based in the local area or prepared to travel
  • Have at least a minimum of 6 months professional experience working with 0–4-year-olds
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
