Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile seasonal menus with input from residents, families, and the Home Manager, ensuring meals are suitable for residents\’ backgrounds, cultures, and dietary needs.
- Deliver excellent meal times and dining experiences, focusing on presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring food quality and safety regulations are met.
- Manage food budgets and ensure effective financial controls.
- Manage and develop the kitchen team, including supervision, appraisals, and onboarding new staff.
Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
