Description

We are looking for a passionate, Italy-loving Team Member who can help us create exceptional dining experiences at our new Guildford fresh pasta restaurant. You won’t just be cooking and serving our customers the freshest pasta in town (although that’s a big part of it!), but you’ll be part of a brand new team opening one of the coolest locations in town.

Picture this: chefs making fresh pasta in the window, Italian funk and jazz on stereo, the smell of ragù, pasta making classes, Vespas, and more.

As a Team Member, your role is to create delightful moments for our customers. We seek candidates who are passionate, love to cook, confident, charming, and eager to be part of our exciting new concept. If that’s you, we want to hear from you yesterday. Carpe diem!

What you\’ll do at Pasta Evangelists:

1. Prepare & plate our fresh pasta dishes to high standards.
2. Prepare orders swiftly and accurately for dine-in and delivery.
3. Be positive and warm with colleagues and customers.
4. Welcome customers enthusiastically.
5. Follow recipes and techniques to ensure quality.
6. Keep your workspace clean and organized.
7. Monitor ingredient supplies and inform the manager if running low.
8. Clean and sanitize surfaces regularly.
9. Maintain kitchen equipment.
10. Follow health and safety guidelines.
11. Assist with cleaning tasks.
12. Work closely with team members for smooth operations.
13. Participate in meetings and training.
14. Support colleagues during busy times and take on additional tasks.

Who you are:

1. Experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but passion for Italian cuisine is key.
2. Enthusiastic about learning and sharing menu knowledge.
3. Detail-oriented with high standards.
4. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
5. Positive, reliable, and a team player.
6. Flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Experience with coffee, wine, or pasta is advantageous but not essential.
