About the role:

We’re looking to hire a Tech Lead to join them in their Bristol, working 3 days per week in their collaborative office environment.

This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be responsible for guiding the team to design and develop solutions, ensuring they are secure, efficient and resilient. You’ll also be providing your expertise to the team, and working closely with product stakeholders on all parts of the product delivery.

Exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team of techies, who all care about delivering a product that is both meaningful and impactful.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Passionate and kind individual who loves to collaborative with other engineers and support the team technically
  • Experienced in designing and developing full stack solutions with Java, Spring boot and ideally React (or similar)
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Messaging technologies e.g Kafka, RabbitMQ OR ActiveMQ
  • Familiar with Cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experienced of working within an Agile Product team alongside scrum masters and product owners
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technically to both technical and non-technical
  • Confident in coaching/mentoring other team members
  • Proven experience of technically leading on projects
