Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a growing international business at an exciting point in its journey? A well-established global organisation is looking to add a confident and capable Global Accounts Payable Clerk to its finance team. With ambitious growth plans and a dynamic international footprint, this is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that supports financial operations across multiple business units worldwide.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing purchase invoices and employee expenses in line with internal controls
- Managing supplier payment runs and ensuring timely payments across global accounts
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies with internal teams
- Assisting with monthly journals, reconciliations, and VAT reporting
- Supporting cash management and ad hoc finance tasks
- Contributing to the annual audit process and supporting wider finance improvement initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and automation
What you'll bring:
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a fast-paced, international business
- AAT qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced); confident with Microsoft Office
- Experience with accounting software such as Dynamics 365 or Medius (desirable)
- Sound understanding of general ledger functions and month-/year-end processes
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable dealing with stakeholders across multiple global regions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider finance team
