Admissions Advisor (Maternity Cover) [Ref: CC7966]
Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group, is looking for an Admissions Advisor to cover a maternity role. The position is pro rata at £25,582 – £25,683 per annum (equivalent to £20,050.76 – £20,129.92) and is part time, 29 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Overview
As an Admissions Advisor you will lead the admissions process for one or more curriculum areas, deliver a customer focused service, provide impartial advice and guidance relating to college courses, and signpost applicants to courses that meet their educational needs across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Manage the admissions process for assigned curriculum areas.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to applicants, schools, curriculum areas and other stakeholders.
- Plan and implement processes to provide timely interviews, offers, progressions, and joining instructions.
- Work closely with curriculum area colleagues to ensure applicants are offered the right course.
- Signpost learners to courses that influence their future careers and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in admissions or a customer service role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple curriculum areas.
- Knowledge of higher and further education admission procedures is an advantage.
