Regulatory Analyst

Head Of Business Development at Levrara Consulting Group Middle Eastern Banking client based in the heart of Mayfair looking for a Regulatory Reporting Officer. Operational Accountabilities Production and submission of PRA, EBA and Regulated Mortgage returns. Assist in the interpretation of rules and documentation of guidance pertaining to regulatory returns including assessment of the impact of such rules on regulatory returns. Assist with on-going system, process and control improvements, liaising with software vendors and IT department. Liaise with Business line, IT, Operations, Treasury and Risk functions as required. Liaise with external and internal audit functions including assistance for year-end reporting purposes as and when required. Provide cover/assistance when required for bank reconciliations, daily liquidity monitoring, AP processing. Responsibility for the submission of accurate regulatory reports (PRA, EBA and BoE as required). Skills and Key Competencies Part qualified or an accounting qualification is desirable. Two years experience in an accounting function, preferably within a banking/financial environment. Must have some regulatory reporting experience/knowledge (ideally both capital and liquidity, COREP). Excellent analytical skills. Experience in the submission of regulatory returns through online portals. Strong organisational skills. You will be required to go into the office five days/week. Base salary paying up to £65k plus bonus and benefits.
