Primary Purpose
This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, collecting carts, cleaning, and maintaining the store environment. We serve communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, emphasizing inclusivity and shared values of care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor. Duties and Responsibilities
- Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at shift start.
- Collect and operate trash and compactor.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly clean sweep.
- Collect, stack, and push carts to the front end.
- Demonstrate good customer service skills.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to communicate and understand safety policies and regulations.
- Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to learn to operate required equipment and tools.
- Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
- Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
- Perform all job functions safely.
- Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved.
- Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits required for the role.
Physical Requirements
- Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
- Job involves continuous activity.
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk for 45% of the shift.
- Category IV physical requirements for lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs.
- Max pull static: 20 lbs.
