We are recruiting for our September 2025 intake of Groundworker Apprentices, seeking candidates living in and around Oxford to join our local gangs.

The apprenticeship lasts approximately 2 years, combining on-site work with college-based practical and theoretical learning, covering topics such as bricklaying, drainage, concreting, and pipe-laying.

You will work towards achieving a Level 2 NVQ in Groundworks.

We seek enthusiastic and motivated individuals looking to start or advance their careers in Groundworks. Please include a CV with your qualifications, industry tickets, and a statement explaining your interest in this apprenticeship.

You will be assigned an experienced mentor within a Groundworks gang to gain site experience, alongside college learning. The program includes weekly or block college releases, focusing on all aspects of Groundworks, mainly within the water industry, including pipe-laying, concreting, ducting, and deep drainage.

This is a fully funded apprenticeship with competitive pay and benefits, including full training, company induction, CSCS and safety training, manual handling, working at heights, and water hygiene. Further plant and core skills training will prepare you to become a General Operative post-completion.

A valid driving license is essential.
