A leading integrator of warehouse automation & robotics is seeking a technical professional to work within integration sales. This is a great opportunity for a successful sales person with an intralogistics background seeking a challenging and exciting role within the warehouse and logistics sphere.
Responsibilities
- Work with the BDM team to take on existing leads for major warehouse automation projects valued at £2m-£10m.
- Show expertise on various automated products including ASRS solutions, sortation systems & AMRs.
- Attend customer sites and put together extensive tenders to win business.
- Liaise with the technical team to develop complex projects to secure business on large warehouse automation projects.
- Produce sales forecasts and reports.
- Represent the business at various industry exhibitions and conferences.
Requirements
- Professional, technical sales experience from within the automation sector.
- Proven experience of winning large projects within warehousing and logistics.
- Preferably have worked for an integrator with a strong understanding of sortation and picking systems, as well as some understanding of warehouse robotics including AMRs.
- Consideration may be given to individuals from a technical background such as mechanical design with highly related experience from the automation sphere.
- Location: Ideally based in the Midlands, but candidates from anywhere across the UK will be considered.
