We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (SaaS) to help spearhead our growth initiatives. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to increase revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of the tech industry, including market trends and technological advancements, combined with excellent sales and negotiation skills.
What you'll get up to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the technology and consumer sectors, in the UK and across Europe.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Preparation and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities within the tech sector to inform strategic planning.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, underwriting, product and operations to align offerings with client needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on data analysis and market research.
About you:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role targeting the tech industry (bonus if you have also targeted business based in Europe).
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of the tech market, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using tools and software including Hubspot, Cognism, Aircall, Slack, Crunchbase and Beauhurst is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation.
