Position: Contracts Manager Salary: £55,000 per annum Location: Stafford with hybrid (3 days in office/2 WFH) Contract: Permanent Bonuses: Pension, 25 days Holiday Allowance plus BH, Van/Fuel card Think Recruitment are currently looking for Contacts Manager based local to Stafford to support the head of services in delivering planned major works projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and health and safety standards. Duties will include: You will take the lead on projects Independently managing contractors You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in developing, designing. Procuring and administering projects from start to completion. Provide expert insights on residential building, group properties and recommending effective ways to project assets Lead and coordinate complex repairs by diagnosing building defects and implementing effective solutions to disrepair, void, insurance claims and damp or Mold concerns. Experience/Skills required: Professionally qualified or Building Surveyor in construction related discipline, with 3 years PQE (Essential) MRICS/MCIOB preferred with evidence of CPD (Essential) Experience in building surveying and complex defect diagnosis within domestic buildings Knowledge of environmental and property legislation, focusing on housing is essential. Ability to write technical specifications, reports and instruction for staff and contractors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop staff building teams to deliver to the vison and values Understanding of relevant statutory regulations to relating to housing provider.
