We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our Physical Education Department, which is committed to developing pupils who strive for sporting excellence while nurturing a genuine interest and enjoyment of physical exercise and sport, whether in a recreational or competitive context. Our major sports include Rugby, Association Football, Netball, and Cricket.
At Ewell Castle School, we take pride in the high participation rates of our pupils in sports and value the enriching experiences that engaging in physical activity provides. The successful candidate will have experience in at least one of the main school sports: Rugby, Football, Netball, or Cricket, and a willingness to develop skills in the other areas if not already experienced. The role will encompass team coaching and individual coaching, officiating, as well as some pre- and post-match administration using the school's internal admin systems. It is essential that the candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and adaptable, playing an active role within the department despite working only one day a week.
