About the role
Join the Lexis Hub as a paralegal to support the Lexis+ Tax Practical Guidance team. This role involves delivering paralegal support and contributing to our current awareness service and core content.
Responsibilities:
- Current Awareness: Monitor various sources to keep customers updated on tax-related litigation. Analyze and summarize changes made by HMRC to its Manuals. Curate daily news alerts and convert case summaries for publication. Ensure all news items and case summaries are accurate, clear, and well-written. Apply taxonomy to news items consistently. Proof content before publication and recommend process improvements. Assist with drafting and publishing the Weekly Highlights document.
- Core Content: Maintain and update key trackers for tax-related cases and developments. Review Lexis+ Tax Practical Guidance core content to ensure it remains up-to-date. Work with the Lexis+ Tax team and Content Acquisition team to commission and draft practical guidance. Review new and existing content for quality and legal accuracy. Draft practical guidance content such as Practice Notes, precedents, and checklists.
