Social network you want to login/join with: We are recruiting a Welder for our client in Aberdeen for a 3 month contract. Assist the Welding Foreman, Supervisors and Chargehands achieve the quality and delivery expectations required from the Fabrication department in the manufacture of products. This needs to be carried out as per production schedules, safely and in the most cost effective manner. This includes but is not limited to: •Multi coded welding duties and reading, understanding and following work orders, drawings, waivers and DQS instructions •Maintain company high standard of quality •Working within company specifications, procedures and guidelines whilst maintaining quality and efficiency in a safe working environment •Maintaining good housekeeping in immediate work area and workshop in general •Supporting and assisting, to the best of your ability, in the development, training and progression of new techniques, processes, systems and work practices •Working in other Fabrication departments to assist with multifunctional tasks as and when operational requirements dictate •Maintaining plant and equipment •Participate in HSE initiatives Desired Qualities/Qualifications •Previous SMAW (Shield Manual Arc Welding) experience – qualified to 3G / 6G •Time served Welder •Previous experience within a similar work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
