Location: Goverseth Refinery, Foxhole, St Austell, Cornwall, PL26 7XY

Salary: Starting at £30,714.71 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours of work: Day and night shift across a 4-week rotating shift pattern:

  • Day Shift: Week 1: 6am – 6pm - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)
  • Week 2: 6am – 6pm Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)
  • Night Shift: Week 3: 6pm – 6am - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)
  • Week 4: 6pm – 6am Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)

The Job Role

Working at our site that runs the china clay refining process, you will be required to focus on producing products to the correct quality and in accordance with the company EHS policies and management instructions.

The Main Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Operating the refining process – this is done via automated process control; however manual intervention is also required.
  • Operating a variety of china clay processing equipment across the site.
  • General site housekeeping.

  • Ideally have worked in a similar industrial environment.
  • Possess Health, safety, and environmental knowledge.
  • Ideally have mobile plant licences / experience - however we can get you trained up.
  • Have a good level of numeracy, literacy, and IT competence.
  • Legally be able to drive in the UK.
