Brighton’s most exciting new venue is evolving on Level 3 of Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach! We are excited to bring you on our journey, launching an expansive experience including multiple bars, food offerings, beach club and cabanas overlooking beautiful Brighton Beach.
Create memorable moments and amazing experiences for our guests as a Bartender in our newly renovated venue! Your role is to provide exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. You will engage with customers, anticipate their needs, and ensure they feel valued while maintaining a lively and professional atmosphere. Bring with you a good understanding of beverages across the board, the confidence to make suggestions, and a passion for amplifying the guest’s experience.
We are also on the lookout for experienced Bar Supervisors who have had exposure to rostering, team development and training, as well as ordering and stock control. Take the lead in our beautiful beachside venue!
Responsibilities:
- Work with a large range of local and imported wines, spirits and craft beers
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Mix cocktails and/or mocktails at our bars
- Upsell and suggestive sell
- Restock and replenish bar inventory supplies
- Process transactions of both cash and EFTPOS
- Provide a personalised, exceptional standard of service
- Ensure safe and responsible service of alcohol
About You:
- Previous experience as a bartender is required
- Extensive beverage knowledge
- You have a glowing personality and are attentive to guest’s needs
- Hold a valid RSA
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of customers
- The ability to work effectively in a team
- Take pride in your personal presentation
- Weekend availability is essential
