Salary: Β£26,000 per annum

Location: Haddenham, Buckinghamshire

Working Hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (excl. 1 hr lunch break - 40 hour week) (Occasional Saturday morning overtime)

Holidays: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays

Job Requirements

The Warehouse Operators will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operation runs efficiently. This includes the management of freight being loaded onto delivery trucks for our daily runs as well as the distribution of inbound and outbound palletised freight from our fulfilment operation. They will also be required to work with other FLT operators and our driving team. The role is fast-paced at times and requires somebody who can organise efficiently, multi-task and work safely and efficiently under pressure.

Skill & Experience Requirements

  • In-Date Counterbalance Forklift Licence and/or Bendi License and at least 2 years’ experience
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
  • A methodical and thorough approach to work ensuring instructions are followed closely
  • Organised and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Process inbound & outbound trucks. Scan loads and report any discrepancies on the freight.
  • Loading of freight onto or off of our delivery vehicles using load sheet manifests
  • Manage afternoon loading operation to ensure collection vehicles are unloaded
  • Keeping warehouse & loading yard clean and tidy at all times
  • Daily Pre-use forklift checks to be carried out
  • Report to the transport team leader and work with them to ensure all requirements are carried out and suggest any improvements.
  • Assist with the unloading of warehouse containers and deliveries.
  • Ensure all health & safety and fire instructions, safe systems of work and risk assessments are adhered to at all times.
  • Assisting with the locating of stock into warehouse storage
  • Assisting with the warehouse fulfilment operation when required
