Signature Recruitment is working with our client, a DfE-accredited, Ofsted outstanding training company, to find a dedicated Internal Quality Assurer.
In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee Level 5 and Level 7 Leader Apprenticeships integrated with National Professional Qualifications (NPQs). As Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), you’ll be the guardian of quality for the leadership development programmes. You’ll conduct teaching observations, moderate assessments, and ensure the programmes exceed both internal standards and external regulatory requirements. You’ll need to feel confident managing complex quality processes independently while supporting the tutors’ professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive quality assurance processes for Level 5 and Level 7 apprenticeships, ensuring Ofsted compliance
- Conduct regular teaching and assessment observations, providing detailed feedback
- Oversee assessment moderation and lead standardisation meetings across all cohorts
- Integrate NPQ frameworks seamlessly with apprenticeship standards for cohesive learner journeys
- Analyse programme performance data and prepare reports
- Support tutor development through targeted training, induction programmes, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain comprehensive audit trails and prepare for external inspections
- Collaborate with internal teams, employers, and regulatory bodies to ensure outstanding learner experiences
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in quality assurance within education, training, or apprenticeships sector
- Strong knowledge of NPQs and their integration with leadership apprenticeship programmes
- Comprehensive understanding of ESFA funding rules, Ofsted frameworks, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make evidence-based recommendations
