A leading provider of MSP Solutions is seeking a proven and talented Pre Sales Consultant to help support the current and new client wins across the M365, Azure and Cloud solution space.
This role will suit a customer-facing technical consultant experienced in capturing requirements and defining appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate will draw on their broad technical background to engage confidently in sales meetings. They will understand how to frame commercially sound solutions, ensure technical viability, and build trust both internally and with clients.
- Act as the technical lead during the customer pre-sales engagements - build relationships and become a trusted advisor when developing technology roadmaps.
- Perform discovery meetings through presales engagements to understand customer business goals, challenges, and requirements - Provide strategic guidance on best practices.
- Assist the sales function in presenting products and solutions to existing customers.
- Generate project scoping documents bridging the customer requirements and the technical solution.
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts, when their deep technical input is needed, to produce a solution design.
- Support the sales function by maintaining and evolving key product and solution documentation, checklists, pricing calculators, and templates.
- Contribute to product management, particularly identifying requirements needing new solutions or services.
Skills required:
- Working as a presales engineer, architect, project delivery engineer, consultant, or similar role at an MSP or similar IT Services outsourcer is essential.
- Exposure to a broad range of modern technologies, in particular Microsoft M365, Azure, Networking, and Cyber Security.
- Exposure to, or experience, delivering projects and programmes of change.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent spoken and very good written English.
This is a hybrid opening, so two days per week are required in the office.
