Boarding Support Worker at William Morris School, part of Novalis Trust, is a charity that supports children with neurodevelopmental difficulties. The school is one of the few educational establishments in the country to adopt a truly ‘trauma-informed’ and ‘trauma-responsive’ approach to care, therapy and education.
We are currently seeking dedicated term-time only boarding support staff to work in our small 39-week boarding provision, due to open in September 2024.
Hours: 39 weeks pa, term-time only working a two week fixed rota which is on average 40 hours per week & two sleep-ins. This will include working every other weekend.
You will be establishing key support relationships with pupils in their boarding provision while providing them with the care, guidance and support they need to thrive. We offer a supportive environment with a fixed 2 week rota.
What we offer:

- From £12 per hour (higher at weekends and higher rates of pay for staff with RQF Level 3) and £89 sleep in rate (approx. 52-week full time equivalent – £32,500)
