Applications are invited for an AD Site Operative to work at our ReFood, Widnes site working 40 hours per week (day shifts 8.00am - 4.00pm) on a 2 week rota.
As an AD Site Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the factory requirements but will include:
- Assisting management in controlling and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the ReFood operation in accordance with management instructions, Health & Safety and Legislative requirements.
- Operating the mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Group Policies and Procedures.
- Ensuring that the facility, its plant, and equipment are maintained and cleaned as specified.
- Working in accordance with staff rosters and the provision of cover for planned / unplanned absence.
- Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested by the ReFood Management Team.
Requirements
- Have the ability to handle raw material. Some heavy lifting may be required.
- Be able to work on your own or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Have the ability to undertake, process and quality check raw material and associated paperwork and perform basic lab tests.
- Have a keen eye for detail, be flexible, practical, hardworking, and able to work under your own initiative.
- A Forklift Truck qualification would be an advantage.
