Jack Richards is looking for professional Class 1 (C+E) Trampers to join a well-established, family run, national haulier. Several shift patterns available. Call us today or apply online and we can book you in with our team for an Interview & Assessment to work at our Wisbech Depot.
Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience.

- Curtainside Trailers
- Timber
You must hold:
- a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence,
- a UK digital tachograph card,
- a full DQC (CPC card).
Role involves:
- Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team.
- Ensuring the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge.
- Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively.
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
In return you will get:
- 5/6 Tramper (Mon Start Day) – c. £50,300 (Plus Bonuses)
- Mon to Fri Tramper (1 in 3 Sat) – c. £49,180 (Plus Bonuses)
- Mon to Fri Tramper – c. £46,700 (Plus Bonuses)
- 4 On 4 Off Tramper – c. £34,100 (Plus Bonuses)
The above figures include:
- Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
- up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance
In addition you can also earn:
- £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (c. £980 – £1,300)
- Get paid 13 times a year (4 weekly).
- Company Pension.
