Requirements

  • Evidence of Catholic Church Approval: Applicants must seek Catholic Church approval upon application submission and provide a copy to the Chair of the Panel before the interview. Pending approval, confirmation from the Church Representative will be sought.
  • Denominational Primary Posts: Applicants must have the Catholic Teaching Certificate or Catholic Religious Education Certificate. More information and forms are available at SCES website.
  • Denominational Secondary Posts: Applicants need RC Approval for the specific school. Forms and info are available at the same SCES website.

Responsibilities

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the PVG scheme. Membership or update of the PVG scheme is required before employment. Further details are available here.
