Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as is a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and a demonstrable track record in the specification of equipment such as transformers, switchgear, etc. Applications are sought from HV Design Engineers working with ICPs or IDNOs / DNOs who, in the long-term, want to progress their career by working on higher voltage projects, including power systems analysis and protection design.
