Varfell Farms is the world's largest daffodil grower, producing over 500 million stems annually from a single site in West Cornwall. With 1,800 hectares under cultivation and 200 commercial varieties, this is a business that operates at scale - but with a close-knit, passionate team at its heart.
What’s the role?

You’ll be using the latest in agri-tech, including Cropwise for field visibility and planning, and a paperless system to streamline operations. You’ll also work closely with the packhouse team, who will ensure the highest quality bulbs are packed efficiently.
What do I need?
- Ideally, you’ll have 5 years of experience, with a degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Crop Production or a related field. If not, we still want to hear from you!
- A background in fresh produce farming - ideally with experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills - you’ll be managing teams and making decisions daily.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset - you’ll be working closely with other managers and seasonal staff.
- A full UK driving licence.
- BASIS, FACTS, and NRoSO are desirable but not essential.
What’s in it for you?
