Looking for a role where you can lead from the front, drive innovation, and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK? Varfell Farms is the world's largest daffodil grower, producing over 500 million stems annually from a single site in West Cornwall. With 1,800 hectares under cultivation and 200 commercial varieties, this is a business that operates at scale - but with a close-knit, passionate team at its heart.

What’s the role?

You’ll be one of three Farm Managers and responsible for the day-to-day management of crop production, harvest, and farm resources. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead from the front, working closely with your team to ensure operational excellence across the board. You’ll be using the latest in agri-tech, including Cropwise for field visibility and planning, and a paperless system to streamline operations. With a strong focus on regenerative farming, you’ll be part of a business that’s not just growing flowers - it’s protecting the land they grow on. You’ll also work closely with the packhouse team, who will ensure the highest quality bulbs are packed efficiently.

What do I need?

  • Ideally, you’ll have 5 years of experience, with a degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Crop Production or a related field. If not, we still want to hear from you!
  • A background in fresh produce farming - ideally with experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills - you’ll be managing teams and making decisions daily.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset - you’ll be working closely with other managers and seasonal staff.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • BASIS, FACTS, and NRoSO are desirable but not essential.

What’s in it for you?

  • Join a business that will invest in you and the team
  • Work in a stunning coastal location with beaches, cliffs and surf on your doorstep
  • Be part of a team that values innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement
