Connex Education is working with a popular Secondary School in Hartlepool who are recruiting for an Art Teacher to work full-time.

The school is very popular within Hartlepool and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out Art lessons for key stages 3 and 4. The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for an Art Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils' education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.

Assignment Details

This role will commence in September and will last for the remainder of the academic year.

Person Specification

  • Must be 21 and over.
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • PGCE in Art or related subject from a recognized provider.
  • You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Have experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Art lessons across ability ranges.
  • Be passionate about instilling a love of Art.
  • Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
