We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Field Sales Force Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Field Sales Force Manager (FSF) in the Away From Home channel will be responsible for capturing opportunities in the Hotels, Restaurants & Catering channel, implementing execution standards, managing the FSF team, and driving sales performance across independent channels. This role focuses on ensuring strong in-store execution, optimizing trade marketing activities, and leading a high-performing sales force to maximize revenue and customer engagement.
What you’ll do:
- FSF Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the FSF strategy in collaboration with the AFH team as part of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Select and manage agencies to ensure maximum ROI and high-quality execution. Implement the FSF methodology while continuously improving processes. Strengthen customer relationships through maintenance visits and gathering feedback.
- FSF Team Management & Development: Directly oversee and support FSF agencies. Coach and train the FSF team on negotiation, relationship management, and product knowledge. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback. Motivate and engage the team to ensure execution excellence. Lead team meetings, Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs), and annual planning routines.
- Maximizing Account Performance & Trade Activation: Expand operator database with data on volume per category and customer preferences. Present and introduce new SKUs to increase KHC product presence. Implement promotional and trade marketing initiatives (branding, menu creation, on-premise activation). Activate local festivals and seasonal events to drive engagement and sales.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Report directly to the AFH Sales Director and align with the AFH sales channel team. Use data-driven insights to optimize field sales force operations and track KPIs. Ensure adherence to execution routines to maintain high standards across operator locations.
What you’ll need:
- Education & Experience: Experience in sales or trade marketing (guideline 5+ years). Leadership experience managing teams/agencies (guideline 3+ years). Deep knowledge of food & beverage AFH dynamics. Experience in negotiating with chains, managing people, and trade activation. Bachelor’s degree.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with sales tracking, reporting tools, and FSF execution methodologies. Culinary knowledge is a plus.
- Professional Attributes: Commercial acumen – ability to convey a strong value proposition, balance pricing strategies, and persuade/influence customers. Leadership & People Management – capable of engaging, coaching, and leading field sales teams. Execution Excellence – strong focus on ensuring standards, monitoring in-store execution, and driving results. Data-Driven Decision Making – ability to analyze market data, FSF performance, and make strategic recommendations. Customer-Centric Approach – ability to strengthen relationships with operator partners and identify growth opportunities.
