Job Description
Assist in delivering an efficient service for the maintenance and upkeep of parks, open spaces, and landscaped areas within East Ayrshire. This role supports the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council\’s key objectives, specifically in relation to Community Planning, Single Outcome Agreement, Best Value, and the Council\’s Transformation Strategy.

The Individual
This is a temporary, full-time position based at Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock. The hours are 37 per week, with a work pattern of Monday – Thursday 7.15am – 3.15pm and Friday 7.15am – 2.45pm. The annual salary ranges from £25,724 to £26,801. The position is temporary until 15th June 2026. The workstyle is fixed, with 80-100% of your time at a single office base or work location. Employees are expected to work at their administrative base or another agreed location between 4 and 5 days per week, generally at the higher end of the workstyle spectrum.
