The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.

Together with the site Manager, the services will be the focal point for all welding activities within the project team. During the EPC phase, the services shall ensure that all operational deliverables and associated procedures are prepared in accordance with the design and installation engineering results and with due account of installation constraints and constructability aspects in order to comply with the installation schedule and shall ensure that all deliverables related to Installation operations are issued by Contractor(s) in due time and fit for purpose. The services shall ensure that all interfaces related to installation operations are duly dealt with and managed with other concerned Disciplines. During the installation phase, the services shall support the CPY site team to: Review the relevant CONTRACTOR or SUPPLIER Documentation (Procedures, ITP, etc.) in coordination with other disciplines. Monitor and control the implementation of the approved procedures, Surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans. Review and ensure that all material certificates and calibration equipment certification files are up to date, including documentation from vendors and contractors. Ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractor’s QC inspection team. Challenge Contractor and Sub-suppliers on QA/QC performance and Inspection activities, and to perform routine and random inspections on a daily basis in this regard. Stop & report immediately to Company Site Representative any anomaly or non-conformity. Attend and participate in daily meetings. The services shall, in the performance of these responsibilities, contribute to maximize the NPV value of the project by finding means to increase quality and productivity and/or decrease investments. The services report to the site Manager and is responsible to support him/her for the reporting to the Project Manager. The services supports if need the site manager for the coordination and shall inform and motivate them adequately so that priorities are clear and directions for the performance of their duties are set to meet the objectives of the Project. The services is also accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for ensuring that H3SE requirements are duly implemented within his area of responsibility. DURATION / LOCATION – Duration: 6 months – Status: Rotation services 4 X 4 – Shift Services: 1 per shift (Usually between 12 am to 12 pm) QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent Professional Experience (years): 10 – 15 years Experience in similar services (years): more than 5 years of experience with supervision of deepwater offshore operations in relation to SURF activities. Participation in a recent deep-water project, including offshore operations. Good communication skills, organizational skills, and positive attitude. Training: CBSP, HUET Languages: Fluent French appreciated. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Certification: IWI-C or IWE. Welding specialist on board pipelay vessel. Experience in similar services (years): more than 5 years of experience on board Pipelay vessel (J Laying): Clad pipes (625) welding Inconel. Automatic welding technologies welding bug (ex CRC bug, SERIMAX Bug, SAIPEM bug) 2G and 5G Welding services. Experience of startup of new pipelay vessel, welding installation will be appreciated.
