About the role

This is an exciting new role for the company, and you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day front of house operations team in the management and support of our clients. This includes ensuring the sufficient onboarding and training of all team members, supporting your General Managers with ongoing recruitment and talent development, and acting as an escalation for team or client experience issues.

The ‘AGM’ will be responsible for the overall execution of the Operations team strategy via documenting of clear processes, training and upskilling team members and then conducting ongoing reviews and audits to ensure adherence. You will be:

  1. Measured on your objectives, namely around client retention and satisfaction, your team’s onboarding and satisfaction, as well as delivering assigned projects on time and within budget.
  2. Strategically and proactively thinking about improvements for our clients’ needs in line with company growth plans and presenting these to the Head of Operations for support (you’ll subsequently be rolling out these initiatives yourself and with your team).
  3. Compiling and reviewing KPI reports to enable you to measure your own teams’ success and to also report upwards to the senior team.
  4. Maintaining contracts for our clients with our 3rd party providers (for example our IT provider) and looking at ways to improve costs and services.
  5. Acting as a point of escalation and mentorship for your GMs on client queries.
  6. Overseeing the ‘launch’ of new buildings alongside our Property Development department and ensuring the building is set up and ready for opening.

About you

You are a strategic thinker who is consistently looking at ways of improving processes or the customer experience. You’re an experienced people manager and can optimise your team’s skills to their full potential. You are:

  1. An experienced General or Building Manager within the real estate space (around 3 years’ is ideal) and have worked in the flexible office / co-working space.
  2. Skilled in mentoring and managing a team within a fast-paced environment.
  3. Experienced in managing budgets / projects within this space.
  4. Adept at managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
