Your new role:
Ballymore is an independently-minded property developer with a multi award-winning portfolio of some of Europe’s largest urban development projects. We are now looking for a Yard Person to join one of our prestigious sites, providing excellent customer service to residents.
Your new responsibilities:
- Maintain the external grounds of the estate and building exteriors to a high standard.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Support the Estate Team in maintaining policies, rules, and quality standards.
- Wear staff uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- Display necessary Health & Safety signs and follow procedures.
- Water plants, clean external paths, roads, plant beds, and gardens, and clear litter and cigarette ends.
- Remove cobwebs from rails, benches, fencing, lobbies, and door canopies.
- Clean and polish steel fittings such as signage, bollard lights, and handrails.
- Keep bin rooms clean, tidy, disinfected, and free of deposited items.
- Perform pressure washing as required.
- Ensure water features are free of leaves and rubbish following SOP guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, litter-free car park; apply degreaser as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Clean all areas and vertical surfaces as per schedule and specifications.
- Water landscaping as directed by the Line Manager.
- Clean lower-level windows as required.
- Attend meetings with your line manager and colleagues.
- Report any damage or defects immediately.
- Keep equipment in good working order and report faults.
- Report maintenance issues such as light bulbs and trip hazards.
- Assist with other tasks or duties as assigned by the line manager.
What you need to succeed:
Previous experience as a Yard Person or Cleaner within residential developments is desirable.
