Estate Cleaner/ Yard Person – Permanent, Blackwall – E14

Hours: 40 per week, 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

We are now looking for a Yard Person to join one of our prestigious sites, providing excellent customer service to residents.

Your new responsibilities:

• Maintain the external grounds of the estate and building exteriors to a high standard.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Support the Estate Team in maintaining policies, rules, and quality standards.
• Wear staff uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
• Display necessary Health & Safety signs and follow procedures.
• Water plants, clean external paths, roads, plant beds, and gardens, and clear litter and cigarette ends.
• Remove cobwebs from rails, benches, fencing, lobbies, and door canopies.
• Clean and polish steel fittings such as signage, bollard lights, and handrails.
• Keep bin rooms clean, tidy, disinfected, and free of deposited items.
• Perform pressure washing as required.
• Ensure water features are free of leaves and rubbish following SOP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, litter-free car park; apply degreaser as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Clean all areas and vertical surfaces as per schedule and specifications.
• Water landscaping as directed by the Line Manager.
• Clean lower-level windows as required.
• Attend meetings with your line manager and colleagues.
• Report any damage or defects immediately.
• Keep equipment in good working order and report faults.
• Report maintenance issues such as light bulbs and trip hazards.
• Assist with other tasks or duties as assigned by the line manager.

What you need to succeed:

• Previous experience as a Yard Person or Cleaner within residential developments is desirable.
