Recreation Assistant / Lifeguard

Overview

At the Tonbridge School Centre (TSC), our team of more than 100 staff is dedicated to providing exceptionally high-quality leisure services for Tonbridge School boys and the wider community. The TSC offers some of the finest sport, leisure, and gym facilities in Southeast England and is home to the TSC Members’ Leisure Club.

Role and Responsibilities

• We are looking for Recreation Assistants/Lifeguards to join our team on full time basis.
• Reporting to the TSC Operations Manager, the Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard will demonstrate a commitment to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer care, while contributing positively to a team-focused working environment.
• This is a varied and rewarding role that supports both the day-to-day running of the Centre and the wider sporting activities of Tonbridge School.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time, year-round position, working 40 hours per week on a rotating shift system.

• Monday to Friday: 5:30am – 2:30pm or 1:30pm – 10:30pm
• Saturday: 7:30am – 8:30pm
• Sunday: 8:30am – 8:30pm

Weekend work is required one in every three weekends.

Closing date: Sunday 1 February at 12 noon
