Graduate Teaching Assistant roles – Newcastle

We are currently recruiting graduates who want to begin their career in education through Teaching Assistant roles at a secondary school in Newcastle. This is a paid internship supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Arts, in partnership with a local school.

As part of the Graduate Teaching Assistant Internship, you will receive accredited training and gain valuable work experience as a member of staff in training.

The role starts in September and lasts for one academic year.

You must be:

1. Available to train and work full time
2. Able to commute daily to the school
3. Interested in working with Special Needs students
4. Prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS if you do not already have one
5. Willing to complete all required training, including after-school sessions

Additionally, you must:

1. Have a DBS form or be willing to obtain one
