We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician at a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician is to support the engineering team with mechanical testing, assembly, and repair/build of the company\’s products to high specifications.

Responsibilities

1. Setting up, preparing, and testing mechanical assemblies.
2. Recording and processing test result data.
3. Maintaining strict health and safety guidelines.

Ideal Experience

1. Previous experience in mechanical assembly or testing.
2. Ability to use hand tools.
3. Ability to read assembly and engineering drawings and follow instructions.
4. Attention to detail.
5. IT literacy with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
6. Experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD is an advantage.

Hours: Day shift with flexible start and finish times.

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000.
