POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner according to cleaning and safety protocols. They will coordinate daily housekeeping operations and ensure standards are met. The supervisor inspects guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction and may assist in various activities or projects as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
- Inspect the cleanliness of guest hallways.
- Assign special projects as directed by leadership.
- Report repairs or discrepancies in guest rooms.
- Ensure all Guest Room Attendants (GRAs) have appropriate supplies and linens.
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
- Process AM and PM room status reports.
- Maintain neat and organized linen carts and stock linen closets.
- Maintain supply cage stock, neatness, and cleanliness.
- Ensure guest rooms are punched in via phone after completion.
- Ensure guest room doors are held open with a door stopper when needed.
- Inspect VIP rooms promptly.
- Prioritize check-out rooms.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in English (desirable).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Well-groomed, clean, and neat appearance.
EXPERIENCE: Previous housekeeping experience is helpful.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Perform activities such as standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and manipulating objects for over 4 hours daily. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Closed toe, non-canvas, non-skid shoes.
