Night Trunk Driver

To support us in continuing to expand our business we are looking for top quality people who can deliver industry leading performance.

Purpose: As one of our Night Trunking team, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles between our depos based in Rugby and Poole.

Location: Rugby Site, CV21

Salary: Up to £40,000

Working Hours: 48 hrs per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – 5pm until finish (usually 9-hour shift)

Reporting to: Transport Manager & Delivery Team Leader

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transporting multiple vehicles between different Charles Trent sites
• Accurately completing all associated paperwork daily
• Communicating with our logistics department
• Complying with all drivers, environmental, and health and safety legislation and regulations
• Maintain good housekeeping practices ensuring vehicle is kept clean and tidy

Experience & Essential Qualities:

• C+E Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digi Tachograph card
• HGV/LGV Driving experience is essential
• Thorough understanding of driving regulations
• Excellent communication with customer service skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• A conscientious approach to work with a commitment to health & safety
• Experience in the recovery industry is highly desirable but not essential
• Flexible approach to tasks and able to work alone
