Join to apply for the Warehouse Team Leader role at Mr Price Apparel. Staffpower Group is currently hiring on behalf of our client in Kirkbymoorside for a Warehouse Team Leader. You will be leading all activities of the Warehouse and Distribution department and its team members, ensuring that inventory is received, stored, and distributed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the activities of the personnel assigned to the department, working in line with production, procurement, sales, and other business needs.
- Create and implement continuous improvements within the department.
- Carry out all tasks in line with Health & Safety regulations.
- Ensure the proper, safe, and controlled storage/handling of materials.
- Answer enquiries regarding stock and kitting from all areas of the business.
- Control stock adjustments within authorized value limits, elevating issues in a timely manner.
- Control and organize company transport related to warehousing, goods receiving, and dispatch.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Experience
- Accurate, thorough, and able to work as part of a team.
- Numerate and detail-oriented.
- At least 3 years of leadership and management experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in stores or warehousing environment.
- Experience in an SME manufacturing environment.
- Experience with stores handling equipment.
Additional Information
- Overtime at time and a half Mon-Sat and double time on Sundays.
- 37 hours per week, with flexible hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Mon-Thursday and 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Friday.
- Private healthcare and 2x base salary life insurance.
