Overview

Role: Analyst Consultant – Water (Environmental)

Location: Bristol (hybrid working)

Salary range: £26,000 – £30,000 plus benefits

Role ID: 2025 – 2838

We are currently looking for an Analyst Consultant to join our Water (Environmental) team.

Much of our work is for water companies but also covers wider infrastructure projects for developers and support for other commercial organisations, where high quality data capture and analysis is essential to assess inform environmental assessments.

Key Competencies And Experience

• A Degree or demonstrable experience in Geology / Hydrogeology
• Borehole specification and logging
• Drilling rig supervision
• Permeability testing
• Groundwater sampling
• Water Quality data analysis
• Contaminated land Phase I and Phase II investigations
• Contaminated land remediation
• Groundwater risk assessment
• A full UK driving licence.

• Strong desire to work outside and complete sometimes physically challenging tasks.
• Excellent team working.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mental fortitude.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated to thrive in this busy and demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills and a close attention to detail.
• Keenness to learn and be able to act quickly and flexibly across projects.
• Excellent report writing.
• Good IT skills commonly used software, e.g. Microsoft Office, Internet, email, and GIS.
• Self-organized with ability to manage own workload effectively.
