Act as a representative of Mitie, carrying out work as detailed by the Operations Manager. Conduct yourself professionally in support of our customers and colleagues. Take operational responsibility to deliver excellent service and meet the required profit margins for contracted and reactive works. Ensure all works are delivered on time and to the specified standards. Delegate work to shift and day engineering teams in conjunction with the Service Desk Administration Team and Senior Managers. Carry out allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the Mitie Maintenance Quality Management System, quality policy, industry guidelines, and customer specifications.
Main Duties
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on engineering services as required.
- Procure materials and equipment needed for works.
- Advise clients of minor additional works.
- Compile estimates and submit them through the Service Desk or Operations Manager.
- Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration.
Candidate Requirements
- Ideal candidates should have Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, and/or 17th or 18th edition BS7671 Electrical Regulations.
- Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation within the scope of the contract.
