We have an exciting opportunity for an Employment Support Coordinator to join the team on a full-time, fixed-term basis until December 2025. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,891 - £28,719 per annum.

Quickstart is the employment support team for Brockenhurst College, providing fully funded short courses to unemployed adults to support them back into work or move a step closer to employment. The team is based in Southampton and delivers courses across Hampshire, Dorset, and parts of Wiltshire.

About The Role

As the Employment Support Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate effective office/administration as part of the Employment Support Services Team (QuickStart). You will ensure the provision and documentation of high-quality guidance related to training and employment for adults.

Responsibilities as Our Employment Support Coordinator Will Include:

  • Processing enrolments, registrations, and certification of learners.
  • Coordinating administration and delivery of bespoke projects, including liaising with partner organizations and lead providers.
  • Administering examinations, both internal and external, including organizing entries, invigilation, and results processing, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations and college policies.
  • Supporting the Head of Course (HOC) with tracking processes to meet contract targets and audit requirements, managing reports with accuracy and validity, and liaising with MI/College on issues.
  • Coordinating internal and external audits, supporting quality assurance by working with relevant staff to ensure systems operate effectively for learners and meet ESFA, OFSTED, and Matrix standards.
  • Managing IQA and EQA processes, ensuring timely sampling of assessments.
  • Facilitating communication between IQA, EQA, tutors, and staff to ensure feedback is processed and received.
  • Identifying areas of poor or at-risk quality and developing corrective processes.

As Our Employment Support Coordinator, You'll Ideally Have:

  • Educated to Level 3 or above.
  • Completed or willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in IAG.
  • Experience in the training/education sector.
  • Relevant experience working in an Information and Advice setting with adult clients.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and demonstrate effective time management.
