Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges - we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing? You’ll undertake highways repairs, including potholes, patching, drainage, footways, and general highway maintenance. You’ll use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records. You’ll be driving and operating plant and equipment when trained. You will take responsibility for vehicles, plant, and materials in your charge. We’ll train you to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out-of-hours activities on a standby rota.
What you’ll bring:
- A clean driving license.
- An LGV Class C driving license or the capability to support investment in LGV Class C training during the probationary period.
- A CSCS card.
- Highways experience.
