About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy specialist, based in Banbury, who are seeking an Interim Quality Manager to join their team.

Job Description

As Interim Quality Manager, your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead and develop a small team of Quality Engineers, through the full product development lifecycle.
  • Manage and execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes ensuring timely delivery.
  • Act as the central Point of Contact (PoC) for all quality activities within the development programme.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, to ensure quality requirements are embedded and met.
  • Drive design for quality principles into the product development process, to mitigate risk.
  • Support DFMEA and PFMEA activities, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Bachelors' Degree, in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a quality leadership role, within a product development environment.
  • Strong knowledge and application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
  • Experience delivering products, from concept to SOP and beyond.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, without direct authority.
