As a General Dentist , you will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring excellent patient experiences, and contributing to the success of the practice. Your key responsibilities include: Conducting diagnostic assessments , treatment planning, and delivering general dentistry services such as fillings, root canals, extractions, and cosmetic procedures. Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. Collaborating with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to deliver exceptional care. Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to New Zealand dental regulations and best practices . Staying updated with advancements in dentistry through professional development and training. Requirements include: A sense of adventure. Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes. Application and securing of NZDA Registration. Securing a working holiday visa. We are seeking Dentists with 1 to 4 years of experience eager to work abroad and explore New Zealand! Our Abano Healthcare team will handle the logistics of your gap year abroad. With 120 practices in New Zealand and Australia, you\’ll have fantastic opportunities to work and explore in some amazing locations. Our offer includes: A return flight to your home country. A 12-month work contract for 38 hours per week. A salary of NZ$130,000 base. Opportunities to work in 2 to 4 locations across New Zealand (3 to 6 months each). We will help you plan an itinerary to visit your desired places. Paid domestic flights for assignments. Accommodation in non-metro locations, sourced and paid for. Car hire assistance where public transport is limited. 4 weeks paid annual leave. $2,500 towards accommodation and flights for your last week in New Zealand.
