Version 1 is looking for a Delivery Director to spearhead our Oracle Applications Unlimited portfolio—an opportunity that blends strategic influence, commercial ownership, and people leadership at scale.

  • Lead a team of 100+ consultants across the UK, Ireland, and India. Deliver mission-critical services to over 30 enterprise customers. Own a portfolio worth £/€10 million, with full P&L responsibility.
  • ASPIRE is Version 1’s flagship managed services model—value-led, innovation-driven, and customer-obsessed. You’ll be at the heart of this strategic pillar, driving continuous improvement and transformation across Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards.
  • Collaborate with commercial and bid teams to win new business and expand existing accounts. Lead on high-stakes bids, pricing strategies, and customer presentations. Drive profitability and growth through sharp forecasting, margin management, and customer retention.
  • Manage a diverse, talented team across functional, technical, and DBA/OCI disciplines. Foster a culture of excellence, engagement, and innovation. Be a mentor, a strategist, and a champion of Version 1’s core values.
What You Bring
  • Deep experience in Oracle E-Business Suite and ERP transformation.
  • Proven leadership in portfolio or programme management with budgets of £/€500k–3m+.
  • A passion for customer success, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead under pressure.

Role Requirements
  • You will have full accountability for the delivery of end-to-end Customer engagements ensuring our customer is at the heart of everything we do, we understand their ways of working and that we deliver successfully for them.
  • You will work closely with Commercial colleagues to build and support compelling proposals and customer offerings which will enable and support our continued growth ambition for the practice and deliver profitable outcomes.
  • You will help lead a team of diverse professionals across Functional, Technical and DBA/OCI teams located in the UK, Ireland and India.
