Set within parkland, pasture, and woodland, the estate features a Grade II listed home surrounded by a recently redeveloped walled garden and pleasure grounds. The gardens include vibrant perennial borders, formal lawns, and a newly established orchard that is in the process of being nurtured and developed. The estate also has a productive kitchen garden, complete with fruit cages and a spacious greenhouse, supplying fresh produce throughout the year.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lawn care, pruning, planting, and maintaining flower borders.
  • Greenhouse and vegetable garden management.
  • Tree and shrub care, pest control, and plant health monitoring.
  • Leaf clearance, watering, and seasonal maintenance.
  • Supporting the Head Gardener with new planting projects.
  • Safe operation and maintenance of garden machinery and tools.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of gardening experience in a similar role.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • A valid driver’s license (due to the estate’s rural location).
  • Health & Safety and CHOSHH knowledge.

What We Offer:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with occasional weekend work (In the Summer months, time off in Lieu).
  • Salary range £30,000- £35,000 per annum DOE.
  • PPE provided.
  • A welcoming and supportive team in a beautiful working environment.
