Media & Commercial Disputes Associate or Senior Associate sought for a market-leading Media Law Firm in London.

The Firm

Our client is a leading medium-size law firm in London, who have a strong reputation in Media Law. The firm acts for a wide range of clients including individuals and organisations, both in the UK and internationally, from HNW individuals needing discreet advice on a high profile matter, to start-up businesses, technology companies and challenger banks. The firm boasts a Tier 1 Reputation Management team and a Legal 500 recognised Commercial Disputes team. They are now looking for an experienced Disputes Associate or Senior Associate to work across both teams.

The Opportunity

In terms of their Media Disputes expertise, they advise on defamation, privacy, data claims as well as IP, film, TV, music and video game disputes. They act for newspapers (including The Sun, The Mirror and The Times), broadcasters, film companies, publishers, journalists, NGOs, as well as high profile individuals. In terms of their commercial disputes expertise, they advise on all forms of commercial litigation for both claimants and defendants. Their clients range from individuals and companies including partnerships, charities, governments, investors, business owners and international businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied caseload of both Media and Commercial Disputes at a leading Media Firm in the city. They pride themselves on their ability to provide some of the best Media work in London whilst also able to retain a wonderful culture and genuine work life balance (which is reflected through their target being 1200).

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with between 2 - 6 years' PQE at either Associate or SA level
  • Experience in Media Disputes is essential
  • Experience in Commercial Disputes is desirable
