We're supporting a well-established engineering business based in Worcester, known for designing and manufacturing systems for the automotive and motorsport sectors. As they continue to grow, they're looking to recruit a Stores Operative to support their busy operations team.
Key Duties:- Receive and check incoming deliveries, ensuring goods are accurate and undamaged
- Issue parts, tools, and consumables to the production floor
- Kit and prepare components for machine builds according to schedules
- Pack items for dispatch, ensuring safe and accurate shipment
- Maintain clean and organised stores areas to improve stock visibility and access
- Assist the Purchasing Coordinator with general stock control and admin duties
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of stock/inventory systems
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
