We are working with a key employer in the defence and facilities sector, looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee both reactive and planned maintenance across a high-profile site.

What the Role Involves:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of maintenance services, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and in line with all statutory and safety regulations.
  • Overseeing performance across internal teams and supply chain partners.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation via CAFM systems.
  • Managing statutory compliance and risk mitigation (e.g., overdue mandatory tasks).
  • Contributing to carbon reduction efforts and identifying opportunities for billable work.
  • Acting as on-call services manager when required.

What You’ll Need:

  • ONC (or equivalent) in Building/Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering—or relevant industry experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in areas like asbestos and legionella management.
  • IOSH qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with site-specific assets and systems.
  • Emergency first aid and fire safety knowledge.
  • Comfortable working with Safe Systems of Work.
