Your new company is a specialist contractor, operating primarily in the waste and renewable energy sectors with a continuously expanding portfolio of works. Due to recent contract awards, the company are expanding in size and profile and are now seeking a Freelance SHEQ Advisor/Consultant to join their experienced HSEQ team.
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing HSEQ on a range of small-medium sized schemes. You will create and complete risk assessments and method statements alongside conducting site audits and inspections on a regular basis. You will lead and deliver health & safety initiatives with the support of a strong HSEQ team to help raise awareness of risks and hazards. You will be site-based 5 days per week.
You will have a previous track record working in a similar role within a waste/energy for waste or engineering environment. Previous experience is beneficial. You will demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. You must be qualified to NEBOSH level and have a minimum of a few years' experience within a SHEQ role.
